Was reading about Richard O'Sullivan the other day. Sounds like he has had a pretty rough time over the years with depression and the bottle. Apperantly he now has to live in an "Actors retirement home" due to a series of strokes. Poor sod!!

I saw a picture of him about 3 years ago and he did look washed up, craggy and ill. Bald to boot, and looking about 80. Pity as once he was seen as a sex symbol.

The official BBC line is that he pushes the boundaries, but within their guidlines.

Why did he leave C4?

When he, and his vast regiment of hand picked script writers get together to "discuss" a movie that JW has "seen" they offer up a honest committe viewpoint.

Ol' Parky's last series this autumn. Parky's from the old-school of chat show interviwers. JW represents the modern era.

That's far too small. The licence fee should be 1 grand a year so that we can have a special dedicated JW channel.

I'm just waiting for those two to do a fisting scene in the next series!

JW and RG should be in charge at the BBC, both on 18 million quid contracts - and we should be very grateful.

I know, and I've been "persuaded" to arrive at that view.

Ta Uncle.
I'm glad I was first on the list when you had your very first "charitee" party.
