These things are measured over centuries and millennia, not just a few decades. And in any case, global climate has been constantly undergoing cyclical changes for the fast 4 billion years or so. Cooling, warming up, cooling down again ...

I'm not saying that it's definitively right or wrong, only that the whole issue is being manipulated by environmentalists and politicians with assorted agendas and axes to grind - and a lot of folk are falling for all the hype. Global Warming has become (for want of a better term) the 'new religion' and sensible debate is being stifled.

Because by that logic, the anti-global warming theories are equally valid since they haven't been definitively disproved either.

Nor has the theory about Bigfoot .. or all the crackpot 9/11 theories ... or the Grassy Knoll gunman etc. etc. etc. (the list is endless).
