Yes, but the 18 quid for the bottle of wine would only represent a tiny fraction of the overall financial speculation. There are many other imponderables that need to be factored in.

The reasons why I haven't bought any porn for a long time now are:

1), bad production values
2), very poor quality
3), ridiculously expensive
4), promised updates/new ventures never materialising
5), customers treated very badly
6), arguments between different production companies
7), allegations of unprofessional behaviour by performers
8), the best producer having to quit
9), and the ever present spectre of the rip-off merchants

Invest in the stock market! It's up to you if you want to do day trading or stick in for the long haul. Or you could buy real estate (property or land).
