Apparently when he got the role of Bond he sent a note to a BBC producer who once advised him to stick to knitwear modelling, so unimpressed was he with Moore's thespian skills.
The note said "Still can't act - but not doing badly."
Gotta love that.

The dialogue in 2 episodes made me laugh in one called the wonderful war they were planning a war with opposing arab state when a woman said lets have a cuppa tea 1st;Then in the saint plays with fire a guy said i only hit him once i didnt know he would die.
