There's no accounting for taste. Dylan was influential and is therefore important, and some of his albums are classics. But he had an awful lot of off-days in the 1980s.
BBC4 is good for catching unexpected things. There was a programme about Emmylou Harris on Saturday night/Sunday morning which was really worth watching.

Didn't say he was finished. He wasn't the only person to have a lot of off days in the 1980s. As for the classic albums, I'd say ten at most.
This is personal taste, Warren, and therefore not open to debate.

Wazza, how could you miss out the classic Nashville Skyline?
Maybe it's just me, going back to the eighties here but, when you saw him live did you notice how you could only tell what the song was when he sang the chorus due to the speed he was singing at.
