I had a problem where the phone would randomly ring,or wouldnt drink or wouldnt stop ringing, where I could heard conversions that wasnt mine.
BT increased the line gain, and replaced my main box, and told me to replace the wiring to the second box.
I never did the latter but the former fixed it
