When I'm keeping fit, I can avoid the sweeties- despite a natural sweet tooth.
Sweets are declining in quality though. We've all had our phases- a Double Decker phase, a Twix phase.........
.....the Milky Way, aah! In the 80s, amazing!!
Now, disgusting.

Why is it that most of the sweets of our childhood are today either tiny sized, or taste horrible?

My chocolate eating days were also in the 1960's. Chocolate was real chocolate in those days. Bournville tasted like chocolate should taste.

I remeber being 'the kid in a sweet shop'.
The packaging of the sweets was a huge attracting factor!!

I grew up eating Topic bars. They were nice and big and would fill you up. These days Topics are tiny and can be consumed after two bites!
