I made enquiries about Zevon through my musciaslly learned mates- they don't know too much about him!! Too busy listening to Captain Beefheart.......
They do say he was a bit of a 'storyteller' through his music.
Another interesting read is 'Wouldn't It be Nice?' by Brian Wilson, pick it up in Fopp or Virgin cheap.
