The culture is AMAZING!!
I would love to do it, not much stopping me, tbh................ folks have a wee hoose there.
I would have to learn the lingo first, due to the highly teechincal nature of my job. A mate went to live in Barca, fell in love with a Spanish lass....... and they although here at te mo, the wil be heading back over soon!
If I was to be a random jobbing ex-pat, summers are great but winters are tough to survive with it being so quiet.
Food for thought. I love Glasgow, but Spanish crime is even more mental- the satas only look good for Spain because much of it goes unreported!! They don't really give a toss, and there is a lot of Russain Mafia kicking about.
I couldn't do Oz- holiday only!! !wink!
I'm talking a lot tonight, normally just 'hover' for a bit!! !hmmm! This behaviour is confusing even myself. !confused!
Oi, Crofter!!!
Re: Oi, Crofter!!!
Yes what a shame Fudge (lol), thought it wasn't a bad game (especially the 2nd half) the wee Aussie midget is utter garbage and as for Killen - how the fuck does he get anywhere near the squad?? Two corking goals that had me and the regulars in the pub jumping for joy ... I Love dem Jam Tarts for sure!!
PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?

I hate the 'Purple Huns'. !wink!
Aye, our strikeforce is a joke- SPL journeymen?!?! Big Jan does my nut in, he's just a big heid-the-baw. Hartson was a big guy, but he had touch, finesse, and every finish in the book!
Rangers are in a similar boat strikers-wise, but Cousin is impressing. Walter is doing a great job. Despite the bitter Rangers infinite chequebook vs Celtic's biscuit tin nine-in-a-row era, I've a lot of time for Walter Smith.
Celtic need some major class up front to placate the fans. Sure, wee Skippy is doing well, love the fella. There's a Brazilian at Heerenveen who has a ridiculous goals:matches ratio who Man City are chasing. Brazilians don't settle into Glasgow culture too well, but if likes the club and wants Champs League footie, bust the bank!!
We're way too prudent, which is good, but we need a few stars- they will pay off with worldwide fame akin tto Naka.
What's your thoughts?

You'd get a job in the defensive unit at real madrid...been all at sea for about 4 years they take anyone...ie woodgate
I've heard Spain is Cheap if your into your drinking back in 1990(my last foray into Europe).......not a word to magoo
Living anywhere is only as good as the people you know which is why the language barrier is such a huge hurdle

Re: consistently inconsistent
Culture differences are soooo important, it's impossible to convey good British humour well, or indeed, at all.
Spanish humour seems to be quite sexual or 'slap-sticky'.
There's a lot of Brits out there, it's just a case of whether you like them or not!! I could easily bump into Ben Dover driving in his Ferrar!!i Got a few Spanish mates, who are really sound.
I 've had rare panic attacks in the extreme heat at night, though- ain't nice!! Must be dehydration, I do a lot of running, went running at the peak of the day once, almost died with the dehydration. Daft bugger! !wink!
I lost a lot of weight on that hol!!

You won't run into Posh & Becks so Spain has just gone a hundred notches
in my opinion
Go do the hawaii iron man triathalon then you'll discover the real meaning of midday heat
I learned after Greg Welch(resting heart rate 28)went pear shaped heart wise that even the stongest/fittest are playing russin roulette exercising in heat
Even walking in extreme heat is silly.I used to do 3 hour sessions where i would just walk as fast as possible non-stop.Salty sweat stinging the eyes should have been warning enough but no when your in the zone you do slly things

Everything in moderation me thinks
The iron man contest at the upper end are just dangerous
Something like a 160km bike,40km run,4-10 km swim?
Even in cooler conditions its would be a challenge
How many marathoners back it up with a bike ride & swim..none..very smart

Re: Oi, Crofter!!!
I have drunk all over Glasgow Fudge (don't remember too much about it though) as I worked up in Finnieston for 17 years, some real old fashioned boozers for sure, seen a couple of large Celtic establishments in my travels but suprisingly gave them a large body swerve as I am sure I would kill some cunt.
If I was a celtic fan I would have felt robbed with the transfers they have made this year, especially after the large windfall from the Champions League run and several players moving on ... looks like the old biscuit tin must be bulging again!!
On to Rangers ...
In my eyes the problem with Rangers under Smith is the style of play, I mean one striker up front against Dundee Utd ... wtf?? No wonder Everton hunted him with that sort of thinking, but Cousin and Jean Claude Van Damme up front look pretty tasty - if they ever get to play together.
