One of them could have gone back to their job which is of course funded by the great British taxpayer anyway. Can't believe they are receiving nothing from their jobs (knowing what I know about partnership arrangements in place in GP Practices) anyway or why this would mean they would be short on their mortgage.

The thing that I find most disheartening in this case is how quite a large number of the public REALLY HATE the McCanns to an extent that they make wild accusations against them and really came to life in this case once the finger of blame was being pointed at Gerry & Kate. Beforehand they (like most of us) were absolutely sick of the blanket coverage the media applied in this disappearance ... now they are the ones dredging up all the shit months after the event.

I heard their "spokesman" on TV the other morning defending them.

He said "they left their daughter alone for a few minutes" !!!!!

It was not a few minutes.

They had gone some distance away from her (and their other children) to have a loooong meal with a large number of other people.

Most of us who are parents would not think of leaving their child unattended for any period of time, let alone for the length of a long leasurely meal in a foreign country.

I am surprised they get ANY sympathy.

The specualtion then was that the parents(7th day adventists)had left their baby daughter at risk of being taken by a dingo because she had a deformity

For once I,m in Total agreement with Zippup on this one, anybody who seiously thinks that this couple murdered their own Daughter on Holiday and then spent the next 3 months in full glare of the worlds press!, is a fucking retard period. I have given some money to this cause, wether they are middle class, upper class --for fucks sake they have lost their daughter, imagine what that must feel like! could you honestly just carry on at work etc as if nothing has happened, cos if you could, you probably could murdered your own child..I feel desperatly sorry for them.
