I get bad colds---days of being able to smell and taste nothing but snot (sorry, lads, but I felt I had to share that)---but seldom get hit by flu, thankfully. So no, no need for a flu jab.

They might just see that suit as a challenge

My system is generally extremely tough- flus or viruses are rare.

I don't go for the jab- but like you two, I have sniffles at the mo.

I'm sniffle-free at the mo, and hope it stays that way.

You can buy all these anti-flu/cold products - just one main problem, the cost. I was speaking to a pharmacist friend of mine and she said that the majority of these pills and potions are just sugar-flavoured asprins which are have a huge mark up on them. She reckons all you need to combat head colds and the like is to drink plenty of natural juice ( high in vitamin C) and have a good balance diet.

There's an old saying: treat a cold and it'll be gone in seven days; leave it alone and you'll be cured in a week.

Plenty liquids, staying warm, and plenty of rest (if you can manage to sleep---runny nose or inability to breathe properly can scupper that) are the best thing.

If I have a bunged up nose I swear by 'Vick'. Fill up a bowl with boiling water, drop a couple of blobs of 'Vick' into it. Place the bowl near to your bed, close all the windows and doors, lay down and breath normally. In the morning your blocked nose should be clear - it's worked for me in the past.

Well, not me personally (they were too damn heavy) but I was driving an effing great forklift truck.

Working at Heathrow (airport) at the time and we had a planeload of half grown elephants !happy!
We also had a full grown white tiger (fantastic animal but I was glad it was in a STRONG cage) !laugh!

not strange on this forum but i walked around for nearly three years with, dildos, butt plugs, douches etc and a variety of sex toys for 3 years of my life so surely in most 'normal' peoples lives that would count for something!
