Hooray! I've managed to get rid of four dozen slices. This morning I went to the local sheltered housing association place (I think that's what it's called) and they were pleased to take this amount. I offered them more slices but the warden (I think that's what she's called) said that she thought that haslet won't keep for very long and my 'collection' was "on the turn". Bloody cheek, there's nothing wrong with MY haslet, it's good for another couple of weeks or so. !thumbsup!
100 slices minus the 20 that I've eaten, minus the 48 I've given away leaves 32 remaining. That's not bad, I'll probably consume those over the Christmas period - result!

I've now eaten 22 slices (just had a couple in a sandwich with loads of relish (no, not them!) for my lunch). That means just 30 slices left, and I feel fine - no tummy upset or sickness.
