I recall the Diddymen in the 60s.

Me too. Although I do remember them mainly from the 70's.

Sorry I was being sarcastic but maybe that did not come across (that is why I put "spit" after the sentence)
I HATE Russell Brand.

And I was agreeing with you. I also hate RB. (so much so I won't even type his name).

isn't it odd that, even now, an old man with a tickling stick and a dodgy set of gnashers can command such respect from you lot?
was never a fan but got a freebie ticket to go see him when he came to town a few years ago. i was expecting the worst...
nearly 4 hours later i had a piss stain in my jeans
easily the best sod all i ever spent
went to see chubby brown the night after. 55mins and barely a chuckle for ?30
much respect to doddy. very funny man

Fond of a bit of Shakespeare, Doddy, and, of course, a pro to the last.
They asked him to stand up in court.
He did thirty minutes.
(Boom-boom).

His diddymen act can be seen every fortnight at Celtic Park - tickets are a bit pricey but you are always guaranteed a bellyfull of laughs.
