With me it was from about midday to 1 AM this morning (Boxing Day).

I know what you mean - I even had great trouble sitting down.

In all seriousness, how can people keep eating and eating and eating long after they are full and sated?

Once I've eaten enough, that's it. My stomach shuts up shop.

Some must have the ability to literally force the food down even when they are in pain from their full and bloated stomachs.

As I get older my stomach does the same - different when I was a pup, I could eat and eat until the cows came home.

The secret lies in lubricating the food as it goes down

A few chocolate laxatives never go astray ;-)

Well, in my case...

I was full after a roast lunch of pork, chicken and all the trimmings. But -because you need to plan Christmas- tea was 5 hours later with ham, salad, trifle, two kinds of cake....

I thought I would have room- I didn't. Discomfort all night- but what else? A Christmas without cake or trifle?

I had a 9 cups of milo yesterday(trying to cut down on caffeine)
and that did wonders for getting me running

Think I'll just go back to the soothing taste of licorice tea
