Try reading the book by uber paranoia writer Richard Mathieson. Three times they've tried filming it, and the first two weren't up to scratch (not having seen the Smith version, I can't comment).

tho i vie never read it , I still reading Harry potter 7 BK approx half way thru it. !blush!

I really didnt care for this film, I thought the whole idea has been done to death and there was no reason to have the monsters as cgi, only when they were doing feats that a human couldnt do.

The film was boring and, has been done too many of times.

having said that I am not the biggest Wil Smith fan but I must say he did impress me in that film. I always think no matter what danger he is in, in this films he always over does it however, his acting was great and he played a stright role for once and I thought he really did well, about the only thing good about the film.

worse yet there is more to come, Sony pictures have picked up the rights to make another too. How boring
