Did you know that we all have multiple personalities but like all mental conditions it is spectral (from mild to severe) ? At the severe end you have Dissociative Personality Disorder where each personality uses different parts of the brain and knows nothing about the other personalities. I think that is rare but all of us to some degree display multiple personalities depending on the situation or mood etc.

Which is what I said a few months ago, and expressed that we're all compulsive, and bi-polar to varying degrees. You disagreed.

As Ken Dodd was saying there is more than one peron in an individual's mind.

We are all at least one of the following to some degree:
narcissistic, histrionic, borderline, anti-social, obsessive-compulsive, dissociative, paranoid, neurotic, monopolar depressive, bipolar depressive, schoziod, dependant or avoidant.
There is no reason to narrow it down just to bipolar or obsessive-compulsive.
Incidentally psychologist Oliver James believes that about a half of entertainers have had dysfunctional childhoods and they tend to be people who crave public attention. Many of them only feel alive when they are on stage.
It is most likely true that some mental disorders are more common in entertainers than the general population.
