Good riddance..

Post by wayne »

Im in agreement with Dynatech, I too gave up thinking the mods would ever do anything to sort this creature out (WZR) and amongst others i stopped replying to posts here as frankly i could never be bothered with the harassment that alweays follow and when i ever did as typinbg it would always have seconds thoughts about doing so.

As for the idea of him being an intellectual supergod think on this..when did he ever present any thoughts/experiences of his own? i think your discover that if not not near google he wouldnt quite as expressive, and why would anyone waste their energy on being on the internet with a "persona" that did nothing more than berate others? knida creepy to me.

I feel WZR was quite bright and sometimes used his brain in a viscious way. However he could often be very self effacing too.I know where he coming from on the under age thing but he got into a 'brawl'.Personally I shall miss his inputs...or at least most of them.

Well said Fudgey.

Two good forumites. Lets get something straight for the WZR hate gang: I doubt Jacques left solely on the basis that him & WZR had a disagreement over something so trivial. Jacques was a top bloke and despite him & Wazza not seeing eye to eye, they agreed on Mike Freeman's fantasies, racism and other subjects. It may make you all feel like big men making out Jacques left because of one persona, but it just makes you ignorant to Jacques other reasons for leaving, and cowardly toward Wazza now he can't defend his corner.

I hear 'bullying' being thrown about, which made me laugh my tits off. What is bullying? Is it Wazza rebuking what he thinks is a stupid comment? Is it Dibble making you out to be a hand-wringing Guardian reader just because you don't agree with his views? Is it Maggoo starting a war at 3am in a morning because he's pissed, depressed and bored, offering to 'knock people out' (something WZR didn't do, and was neatly swept under the carpet without so much as a warning)?

Look at yourselves next time you have a disagreement on here before you play the 'he was a bully' card. Was I a bully, or Fudgey, or Carac, or Jacques for taking the piss out of someone on here asking about some bird he'd seen on babestation/babecast?

Is the biggest bullying a gaggle of geese congregating on one or two threads, slagging off someone who's now not allowed to defend himself?

Before 'the gaggle turn in my direction, I'll leave you with a few quotes to consider, from giants of our past:

On WZR:
"When the eagles are silent, the parrots begin to jabber."
Winston Churchill
About yourselves:
"And since you know you cannot see yourself,
so well as by reflection, I, your glass,
will modestly discover to yourself,
that of yourself which you yet know not of."

William Shakespeare
And finally, to Jacques:
"Wheresoever you go, go with all your heart."
Confucius
He exposed his true self well & truly with the recent 'cut out and keep Steve 56' thread - blatant sneering bullying of the worst kind, and on someone he knew wouldn't defend themself, just cheap laughs for him and syncophants, and proof his 'man of the people' stance was a lie. To give him his credit in thought, word and deed he was of a very simlar mindset to the 'new labour' arseholes he so respected with one big diference - whilst they're out creaming money of us all left, right & centre and reaping the rewards of their endless pillaging, he was vainly spending all night every night making incognito (and therefore ultimately inconsequential) posts on an off topic porn forum.
The similar 'cut out and keep' thread he created for Officer Dibble was fair enough, cos Dibbs was more than a match for him, but the Steve 56 thread said all you needed to know about wzr.
Some of you may recall a thread I contributed to some months ago about Gordon Brown's inflation and our crappy wage rises etc, in which he took to refering to me a 'thick cunt' - I didn't complain about this obvious abuse of the forum as I thought it would be screamingly obvious to the mods, perhaps I should have raised it....

They're locking them up today, they're throwing away the key...I wonder who it be tomorrow, you or me?

'Bullying'.

Post by dynatech »

I'd say two prime examples of online bullying I have just listed above - the 'cut out and keep Steve 56' thread and the referring to other forumites as 'thick cunt' when no kind of personal insult had been used withing the course of the thread/conversation.
I'm sure there are many more, but we'd be here all day and I've got beter things to do

mcfister - he'd be rumbled in no time.

That arrogant, condescending, schoolmasterly, I'm-much-smarter-than-you style of his would be instantly identifiable.

I agree with dynatech - it was almost as if he regarded himself as the "soul" of this forum, even to the extent of starting threads about himself in order to massage his ego, and copying Dibble's style of referring to himself in the third person (all that "President Wazza" nonsense).

He thought he was this great intellectual raconteur with an amazingly sharp brain - but really he was just a self-important twat.

Good riddance, I say.

- Eric

I agree that calling someone a 'thick cunt' isn't nice, but WZR was called some names in his time, and on numerous occasions!
The steve56 thread was a tribute, apparently. He stated that in the thread (I never participated so had to go back and check).

I agree with you in that it could be seen as a piss take, but lots of others have taken the piss out of forumites (babecast/station posters for example). making me a bully, as well as other respected forumites on here.

This isn't trying to get people to change their mind over whether you like Wazza or not; it's a post to remind us all that we all have our moments of bullying/taking the piss/being a twat and it's easy to ignore our own faults.

I know he was your friend, Sam, and I respect that. But you see WZR through rose-coloured spectacles.

And here is another quote. From many people on here to WZR:

'The workers look up to the masters because the masters have put them on their knees.
Get up off your knees and fight.'
