What was it that you were going to do if you didn't mellow out?

Become a porn star?

Become a forum moderator?

I think Ron Jeremy already has the fat, ugly porn bloke market cornered, and I don't have the patience to be a Mod.

Probably commit forum suicide in a Peter Finch/Network sort of rant.

Cheers for the chill-out music, Buttsie.

I've got Make Tomorrow from Ovo playing in the background---four of the most amazing voices in music: Paul Buchanan, Elizabeth Fraser, Richie Havens and Peter Gabriel.

The day music can't lift me, I'll just lie where I am.

Buchanan is the lead singer of The Blue Nile, and sounds similar to Gabriel; Fraser was the singer with whacko indie band The Cocteau Twins, but also featured on the soundtrack of one of the Lord Of The Rings movies; Havens has been around for decades, a guy with a rich velvet voice---appeared at Woodstock.

Gabriel's a national treasure, very important in making world music more accessible to western ears, and his third album was possibly one of the most influential of the 1980s.

Many thanks for the Ovo links, Buttsie. Think it formed part of a South Bank special here in 1999, but I was drunk when I saw it then and didn't appreciate it. Cheers.
