Glenn was in the 1968 line up and played on the 1st LP before that he was in Finders Keepers,Didnt like Judas Priest at all.

Mel got to his 60th birthday last week, and a party held at a hotel near Lichfield.

Glenn Hughes flew in for it, Suzi Perry was there- with her Dad, legendary Midland music promoter Anthony, who helped launch metal as a genre- and Chris Evans attended too- a nice touch and one I haven't read about apart from my local paper.

Lichfield is just up the road..........damned if I know any decent hotels up there though!
Glad Mel had a good turn out.

You are not that far from me then!- ok, Ace, the actual venue was in Cannock Wood; but I doubt 99% of the board would know where that was.

And I also doubt you need to know who Anthony Perry is...or Lafayettes or the Band of Joy....
