England and Wales is a single legal entity.

In that sense, Wales is legally part of England.

Congratulations to you all...I love the Welsh enormously and you have all deserved this so much.

What do we English get? Some smug 20 yo idiot saying 'fuck' at 4.45pm on BBC One. A great future for us there, eh?

Surely then Wales is part of "England and Wales".

"Wales" has has a legal definition since 1967; reinforced in the 1974 Local Government Act- which added old Monmouthshire to it; and concretised in the 1998 Government of Wales Act, which introduced the concept of 'Welsh law'.

However, the phrase "England" for cricket purposes is the short version of the full phrase 'England and Wales'. Which is why Jonah, Crofty et al play for 'England'- it is England and Wales they actually play for.

Cardiff is a quality City.I had the pleasure of 3 visits to the Millenium to watch Chelsea and the organisation in the City centre is brilliant,as are the surfeit of Bars and Clubs in the City Centre.

It was only the journey up the M4 that bugged me !laugh!Mr Mark wrote:

I am in Cardiff a week on Thursday- visiting the Millennium Stadium and then Sophia Gardens.

Sadly, we have to leave for home at 6 :(((((((

Surprised you have'nt been there to see the Baggies in the play off final colonel.

The only doubts i had about Cardiff was leaving the motor in the Cardiff City FC Car Park,to board the Bus transfer to the City Centre, other than that, all cool, and as i said good orginisation regarding the segragation of the supporters.

Good cheap beer too.colonel wrote:

If I had gone, we would have lost.

I won't be at Wembley for that reason. On either occasion.
