I think you're telling little fibby-wibbies.
I also think I'd like to have a peek at your secret record collection - you know, the one under the floorboards that Mrs Ace doesn't know about - the one with all the boy band recordings.

Bit disapointed with tonights ending , but a new series is promised for next year.

Fabulous show tonight.
It turns out we were wrong to consider that this series didn't really get going until about the fourth episode.
I have downloaded all episodes thus far and have watched every episode again.
In fact it was superb right from the start.
Clearly we just needed time to adjust to it, having been so used to Life On Mars.

The villain of the piece didn't surprise me---I thought it was signposted very early on. But his other identity did.
Loved the stuff involving Scarman, the aftermath of the demo, and the heroic Gene Genie.
It may not have lived up to Life On Mars (we sort of knew what to expect this time round), but it's still quality television drama that doesn't involve Victorian costumes---a rarity. As for Ms Hawes, I thought she was fine in Our Mutual Friend and Tipping The Velvet, but I've fallen in love with those beautiful eyes, not to mention that fabulous body.
Haste ye back, ATA.

"Tipping the Velvet" deserves a re-run, if only on BBC3 or BBC4 as does "Fingersmith" by the same author
