Thats the verdict that has been reached and lets be done with it, although many unanswered questions and those awkward theories that won't go away.
I'm of the belief it was a 'job' carried out, but we'll never know, and Al Fayed's rants, funny as they are, just make the theories and conspiracies seem bogus. Maybe if he'd been a bit more tactful in his approach, people would have some sympathy for him, but he was his own worst enemy in the witness box

Everyone who knew her accepts she was attention seeking, manipulative (playing off one boyfriend off another etc) and volatile which are three of the ingredients of BPD.

Sorry guys - no evidence of bipolar.

Do you believe that she was 'done away with' by senior members of the establishment?

Even Al Fayed's senior lawyer, Micheal Mansfield, agrees with the recently reached verdict.

Olay, how's it going ol' son, rather wondered if you'd gone off the tracks recently especially with your 'prediliction' for watching women eating turds, but it seems you're back on form. BPD rules..no I've changed my mind it doesn't.

Not by members of the Royal Family, but certainly someone in the corridors of power at Whitehall knows something

The verdict is correct given the evidence submitted, but as stressed, too much other evidence wasn't called upon and some witnesses deemed unreliable, and I'm not talking Burrel or Al Fayed either

Exactly Ace

Unless you give no restrictions to the process then you can be assured it was a pure exercise in theatrics aimed at doing one thing, clearing the royal families reputation

Its all to convenient to call someone unreliable and someone else reliable purely on the basis of I swear

Its a pity they dont use a lie-detector test on people giving evidence instead of the farcical I swear

They don't use lie detectors in court because they can be cheated. They work on dumb chavs on Trisha and Jerry Springer, because these people are unable to control their emotions.

The detectors basically work by measuring changes in the potential difference across the skin that occurs through nervous reactions and emotional responses.

A psychotic can easily outsmart a lie detector, because in his own mind he will probably profoundly believe, his own version of events and so their will be no emotional response and therefore it will produce a flat-line on the readout.

They work well in altercations, where someone says, "You shagged my mate you fucking slag, didn't you?" where the accused is already in a guilty hyped up state.

Jim's Handy Hint:

Here are plans for a simple lie detector machine that will give you hours of fun at home, especially if your other half is a lying, cheating, bastard! LOL

Lie Detectors are deemed inconclusive, BUT considering the option of placing your hand on the bible is the ONLY method used for someone to tell the truth is both antiquated and unreliable, especially to those who lie through their teeth....and are good at it

If you ever get the chance, read the book Helter Skelter about the investigation into Manson's family and their crimes. There's a little section about police carrying out a lie detector test on Roman Polanski that might change your views on how effective it is. Also, how would it work with people who have programmed their minds to believe contradictory things? Blair didn't lie when he said there were WMDs in Iraq---he actually believed it at the time.

Bottom line: the brainless clothes horse and her boyfriend would be alive today if:

1 They had worn seatbelts
2 If they had listened to security advice and allowed the photographers to get a few snaps of them leaving the hotel
3 If security advice had not been overruled by Dodi's dad
4 If they hadn't got into a car with a pissed-up driver

Various things contributed to the crash and the deaths, but al Fayed carries a large amount of blame which is why he is seeking a conspiracy to exonerate him.

Finally, I don't know about the rest of you, the moment I heard about what happened---and I heard the initial news flashes and watched a good bit of the coverage as it happened---it seemed inevitable that this was how it would end for her, and so it was no surprise or shock.
