I may be wrong but from the details I think this a DVD player with HDMI 1080 upscaling but it will not play HD-DVD.

ye i got it from bennetts electrical ?78 and the 2 hd dvd,s which come with it are the bourne supremecy and 300 and the machine is a toshiba hd-ep30kb 1080p full hd

thats only an upscaler so it wouldnt play hd dvd,sat all

this is where i got it from but looking at the website i cant see them however in my local store they had loads of them in stock and that was last week so may be worth a call or a visit if theres a branch close to you
