Or maybe higher taxes on fast food?

I mean, seriously, for me to make fresh pasta, with chicken and a white wine sauce, a little parmasan & coriander costs about ?12-14, which gives me enough for 2-4.

I can order a 12" pepperami pizza with a massive amount of fries, onion rings/potato wedges covered in a fatty mint yoghurt for ?8, delivered to my door...enough to feed 3-4.

Why is it 25-35% cheaper to order out these days than cook your own meals? And this is just one meal. If you've a family of 4 and taking in a whole weeks food I bet you could save ?20-?30 a week by eating take-aways. Where's the incentive?

The point of jogging is pretty subjective, pointless to some (like, perhaps, yourself) a salvation to others where repeated jogging gives you an endorphin boost which leads to the natural 'high' whilst giving your cardio system a good workout.

I love it- not been doing much of late, mind- and I'm a good runner when fit- i just love blissing out to a good run with the iPod on, with some nice scenery to absorb.

I do worry about the long-term on the joints, though- the last thing i want when older is arthritic knees, but have had no problems thus far.

I prefer 'running' to 'jogging', though !wink!.

Lol...well if you've got 3 mates, yeah. My 3-4 scenario was man, woman with 2 kiddies.

I still think it's cheaper to eat take-away than cook your own (unless it's all tinned/pre-cooked crap).

just extracting the urine mate

not sure I agree with its cheaper to buy take away, I can buy a fillet steak from my local farm shop and have it with a baked spud and a pile of salad for about 6 quid, you'd struggle to get a decent chinese or indian for that round my way, plus I know which meal i'd rather eat

No problemo, Diplo !wink!

Well, either take-aways are cheaper round here or the supermarkets are more expensive!

I can get a 12" pizza for ?4.50 round here. Don't know how they make a living.
