Loved the bit about how they can't form their own independent opinions. Its amused me for ages the way 'free thinking' uni students have to express correct opinions in order to gain good marks for their essays.

I think what I meant was the way theories by, say Marx, are regarded as proven scientific principles when they surely must be opinions. The practice of shouting down anyone who questions them leaves me with little respect for their so-called 'debating' methods.
