CHELSEA really blew that BIG TIME.

United, after their promising start, really let the Blues back into the game through some shoddy defending for the equaliser and were mighty fortunate that the woodwork saved them twice with VdS well beaten.

Rooney was well off his game and although he worked hard, Tevez could have been playing until next year and wouldn't have netted.

Drogba was a complete jerk and I'm certain that's the last we'll see of him in a Blues shirt.

Once that very annoying little tosser who wears 7 for THEM missed (hilariously), I really thought that was going to be that in the shootout but then the woodwork saved United for a third time!!! - Talk about having ALL the luck go your way!!!

And now Fergie's won his second European Cup - well done, mate. Now you're just one behind SIR Bob Paisley !bow! who claimed three in his nine years at the Anfield helm.

What a pity you won't get to match his record next season when we win our SIXTH European Cup in Rome, sweet Rome...

Walk On...

...something that's annoying me re Terry's penalty miss.

Unless I really do need to go to specsavers, he slipped after he struck that ball. The ball would have hit the post regardless.

Cheers.

The truth - 12 men of Man U beat 10 of Chelski. As always the ref has finall decision in these matters.

Chelski the better team all in all and thats coming from a Gooner. But ref on their back plenty.

Ronaldo - best player in world - hmmmm

You're right... you do need to go to specsavers... JT's left foot slipped as he was taking the kick, not after. You may have thought after, because the most obvious part of the slip (loosing his footing completely and falling over) came after he had kicked the ball, but the start of the slip was clearly just before he struck the ball.

Credit where it's due, Bob. After looking at a slow motion replay on youtube, he started to slip just as he hit the ball. It wasn't in the same league as the Beckham miss, where the ground totally gave way, but there you go.

From one 'expert' to another, though....if you know anything about kicking a football, the more your standing foot moves in front of the ball, the narrower, and lower the angle/trajectory.

In other words, without the slip, the ball could have gone higher and wider! He opened his body up too much in my opinion, and how glad I am of it!
