Yeah....pop a cd into your drive and iTunes -if installed- should open up automatically and ask if you ant to rip the cd onto your pc.

Likewise, upon pluging in your ipod to the firewire/usb port, iTunes will open up and guide you along, making it as easy as possible to transfer sings onto your iPod.

Rip your CD's to mp3 using your favourite converter, I use audiograbber

then download sharepod

to load the mp3's onto your iPod.

You don't get an iTunes CD with a new iPod any more - you have to download it from the Apple web site.

Install iTunes, insert your music CD and it will copy to computer, compressing the file to AAC format (like mp3 but better).

Then you synchronise the iPod with the tunes on the computer. Simple.

could not have said it better my self Dippy old son

Sorry but this made me really quite aresy!!

ash is a new poster and un-like alot of others around these parts allways takes the time to reply and thank the people who have contributed to his threads.

Emily picked on him for no reason what so ever...and came across as a complete twunt as a result. And this needed to be pointed out!!

Its all well and good posting snotty replies to twuntish threads. But when some one is just trying too get a little help with some thing that they are new too,you just sound like a nasty fucker.

Well reading other things she has posted on this thread, maybe she is just nasty....what a shame!!
