I'm under the impression he was caught before he did the crime. The whole if it went off was the surmising if it went through.

In other words, even though you suspect someone is about to do a crime that is not enough evidence unless you catch them in the act of doing it.

Heads wouldve rolled for sure if they bungled it and it came to light that they know...Hence no time for pleasantries at point of arrest...

No doubt the terrorist chap will say the police used unpleasant language during his arrest and handled him in an impolite manner too.

I thought he was caught after it went off hence the reason why he still hasn't been questioned is because of his injuries.
