Decent film, enjoyed it. The end is a bit strange.
Eli Dingle played a good part

They're locking them up today, they're throwing away the key...I wonder who it be tomorrow, you or me?

It has UK as a default ... doesn't have England but nor does it have Wales, Scotland or N Ireland.

Wasn't the film about the appeal of those kind of hate fuelled right wing ideologies to inadequates ? Superficially the reason why he attacks the black lad is prejudice and hatred, but isn't the trigger when the black lad is talking about his childhood and his supportive extended family ? The skin who attacks him is full of anger because he was unloved and abandoned as a child, but rather than address this root cause he latches on to a political ideology which allows him to purge the symptoms from time-to-time through acts of violence.

The ending is simply Shaun's conscious rejection of an ideology which he'd tried on for size, and perhaps a rejection of violence as therapy.

i got bored and turn it off about half way through
thought the acting was shite too
