Well he didn't use it on the Bo Diddley thread so either an attempt at humour or homophobic or in self-denial of his own sexuality.

Well, I'm not sure about the women's rights thing -- I suppose some women may argue that they used fashion as a stage for expressing their freedom (not being told by husbands/society what's acceptable attire maybe?).
One cannot argue that he's up in the top 3-5 designers of the last 50 years...maybe even longer? Now, imagine being in the top 5 cricketers of the last 50 years, Alice. Who are we to decide if being a cricket icon is more important than being a designer icon? it's not as 'blokey' as cricket but it's debatable if it's more, or less camp than building up your muscles, oiling yourself down and 'wrestling' with other muscled, well-oiled persons of the same sex......oooh errr!
Seriously, I'd rather wear a wig and walk around like a ponce than 'wrestle' with a oily guy in lycra....call me weird!

I didn't figure him for a Sheffield United fan. Another thought has just struck me, does that mean that all 'Blades' fans are bent?
