Sky TV yesterday announced their live Premiership fixture schedule for the 2008/09 season.I'm only going to put up the opening weekend as it'll take too long to do them all up to December. Please understand how i word the fixtures as due to FAPL copyright i can't do the proper team names ie: ex v ex,etc etc.All k.o times are UK time !happy!

Saturday 16th August
Arsenal at home to Baggies 12.45pm

Sunday 17th August
Chelsea at home to Pompey 1.30pm
Man U at home to Barcodes 4pm

I'm sure whether Setanta has released their schedule, but i'll hazard a guess that Villa against Man City will be their opening game at 5.15pm.

I think most of City's first few games have been moved for TV. The club's website have just put the new times and dates up. I don't think we have a saturday afternoon 3pm home-tie til November!

Looks like most of your games will be on Sultana,Lucifer, and most of them will be on a Monday night, barring the derby against the red scum

I think Chelsea have at least 8 games on Sky Sports for the first half of the season.

I know our first game against Pompey is live,as is our second home game against Sp**s.

ITV have their Premiership Saturday evening programme back. Not sure what time it will be shown though.Their previous time slot of 7.25pm was'nt a bad idea.

ITV have also poached the England WC qualifying games from the Beeb as well.!laugh!

Correction.Setanta's opening game is Sunderland against Liverpool on the 16th at 5.30pm,then a week later they're showing Wigan against Chelsea at 5.30pm.

Lucifer will be pleased to know that his beloved sky blues clash with Scolari's blues,at Eastlands is also on Setanta.

I've just been looking on the Chelsea website to get a printout of the fixtures for the new season and have noticed that Chelsea's 1st 3pm k.o of the season is'nt till the end of SEPTEMBER(Stoke away).Chelsea, like Man U,Arsenal,Liverpool and Sp**s have very few Saturday 3pm matches this season.

Armchair Chelsea fans will be delighted to know that Chelsea's first FIVE games are all being televised.

Makes no bones for me,as i'm a season ticket holder and will actually be attending all the home games this season.

I really think the standard should of been kept,Saturday's was designed for football at 3pm.It's all the FAPL's fault for not allowing 3pm games to be televised.

I shall be at that one Mike! Just hope theres no repeat of your 6 goal thriller(!) from the bridge last season! Mind you, City on telly doesn't bode well for us unless its against united.
