I'd say he is still alive- this is a smaller scale version of Dave Swarbrick.

Francis Matthews is alive and well. At the weekend he attended a celebration party for Christopher Lee at Elstree Studios.

Zetaminor obit thread has just reported the sad death of Internet personality steve56.
It is believed that no drummers were involved.
A spokesman for Francis Matthews said he was 'saddened' and asked for ITV to repeat Paul Temple as a tribute to Mr.56.

Didnt even know Christopher Lee was still alive it seems its a mistake zetaminor have taken it off.
