I get morose at times but I am not clinically depressed. But about 3 million people in this country are. Even so I would find it nice to have a suitable person to vent to now and again.

About a week ago I had a highly therapeutic chat with an employee of a company where I used to work where i had bad experiences. He could relate to what i was talking about as he had had similar experiences. He validated my feelings very well.

I don't listen to much music at all these days, it's all rubbish - and what I used to like seems so dated. So best compromise is not to bother with any music. I do listen to bit radio, but that's it.

Speech radio makes a lot more sense.

I think they are only there to talk people out of killing themselves.

Fucking hell Arch ...been on the piss?

Music is a thing enjoyed all over the worl.It has been for centuries and will be long after you and me have departed this world.Of course there are more important things. But how popular is music at funerals now?.Music, for a while, can take you places!

As for waiting 18 months suggest you change your GP.They have access to Community Psychiatric Nurses who would be 'on your case' within days around where I live.

Loads of people get pissed off some handle it better than others and others sadly do not handle it all.To some life is very difficult no doubt and for those without family and friends it will be worse.

Today for example about 11 people will be killed in road accidents in the UK.Some of their relatives will want to walk off a tall building as a result.Sad but true.Shit happens. It's a shitty world at times... and shit comes peoples way every day.Music is one of those things that gives pleasure so don't knock it forum friend!

I do listen to a lot of speech radio, with the occasional dabble to R2, Arrow Classic Rock and Rock Radio.

As for the mental state of the nation.I had no trouble getting some drugs to alleviate my negative thought a while back.A quick appointment with a medically qualified person would always be difficult given how few there are per capita of the population
