also I was surprised to learn that the head of the inland revenue, he who resigned last year, and got a massive pay off, when they lost all that data....... was re employed a week later by the government as an adviser to the treasury! on a wacking salary....

I remember when Kenneth Williams died.

This was also an "obvious" suicide that was listed as "open verdict".

He had written about suicide in the diary, was in pain from a medical problem, and was taking more and more drugs to mask the pain.

The last entry in his diary was "What's the bloody point"

I want that on my gravestone !
