Old Big Nose is pushing 70, so I guess he's entitled to be a grumpy old bugger having spent the last 40 years in the shadow of what he did in his 20's.....

Ringo can live in the past, after all, your tag is over 40 years old !
Comes from "Forever Changes" by "Love" which I have to say has been my favorite album since I first heard it all those years ago.
One of the few albums from that period I can listen to today and still enjoy.
I want it played at my funeral as what he says sums me up more than anything else I have ever read or heard.
Ringo can live in the past, after all, your tag is over 40 years old !

There's nothing quite like it - and it's bitter-sweet sense of foreboding makes it (IMHO) all the more relevant today than it ever has been...

For me its the words and use of tijuana brass that really makes this lp.
Did you guys ever see the recent live shows Arthur Lee made before his death in 2006. brought tears to my eyes as I never thought it could be reproduced live, note for note.

maybe he has arthritis in his aging hand and cant write his signature anymore!
maybe he finds it hard having a tommy tank after doing all that signing! u know hand ache and all that.
maybe he just got pissed off doing it. i imagine he had some fan mail over the years and its not like he has anything left to promote now is it. he lives off royalties.
maybe hes just as grumpy as the rest of the world is at the moment and wants to be an arse!
