Their nuisance value is nothing else

I've found answering NO when they ask for you ie Mr Dipshit
very effective in stopping them in their tracks

What ever you do dont say YES to anything. ie

Do you want to save money on your phone bill-correct answer NO
Would you like cheaper phone calls NO

All calls are recorded and the dubious operators have been known to use recordings to complete a sale

In my book all telemarketers are under pressure to sell which means the truth should be treated as dubious at best whereever the call centre is located

Plenty of examples of small local operators who tell white lies to get your business

Callers can and often are, fined for 'silent calls'. I have sometimes told the caller that I will report them for it, and from their response it obviously is a pertinent threat.

Still funny after all these years..
