Although I'm in agreement with you and never venture there as anything other than a last resort, I spent yesterday looking for a bit of kit (for a mac too) and PC World came out as the cheapest by far, half the price of its nearest rival!

I'm going down today to see what the catch is!

I once bought a Monster Scart Cable from PC World - the salesguy (he seemed to know his onions) assured me it was needed and my High Def. Picture would be Extra Detailed with this little beauty (read monster) hooked up. Only ?65 as well which was a managers special bargain reduced from ?79.99.**

FWIW folk that take out the extended warranty, insurance and buy the overpriced accessories quite frankly deserve just what they get ... to be taken to the cleaners.!teacher!

**Well after using this Monster Scart for a good few months I can report that my Freeview looks absolutely treeeemendous giving me brilliant High Def. detailed pictures (especially on the ITV1 coverage of the football) - only problem is I shelled out so much I cannot turn my heating on as I can't afford the rising cost of fuel.
Oh well you can't have everything.!hmmm!
