I always have to laugh when Yvonne Ridley comes on - she dresses in the most ridiculous style. She dresses in the Arabic style, but tries to jazz it up with over bright colours and oversized hats. She is about the size of a house end as well. I wish the government would pay the Taliban to take her back

The BBC's Farsi service is very popular in Iran, as is the BBC Arabic service in the Arab world. Why are we fearing having a different perspective broadcast in the UK? Al-Jazeera English is fascinating- they have some great shows. And as for Press TV- I actually think they're doing a great job of reporting directly out of Gaza- something our media is failing to do.

I can't work out exactly what you're objecting to?

Why are telephone callers to arabic channels extremists? I'd hope the security services make slightly more intellectual analyses than these.

Press TV is very interesting- I use George Galloway as 'company' during his TalkSport show and the likes of James Whale and Mike Mendoza are hardly The Men From Tehran- and I am sure the intelligence servies find it interesting for very different reasons...
