We dont get the person we elected, if they change jockey's half way through the race. Like I said earlier Blair is the only PM of the last 3 that was elected. I always vote, but I realise it is largely pointless.

That's what I'm saying, you don't elect the PM, you elect the government by voting for your local MP.

It's different in America where they actually vote for the President.
