So everything that people like Steven Gerrard and Cristiano Ronaldo earn after 1 week is taxed at 50% ? I don't think so.

>can anyone explain this to me? if you earn over 150k you loose half of it?

It always amazes me how many people use the word "loose" when they mean "lose".

Loose is the opposite to tight (my trousers are loose)

Lose is the opposite to win (Arsenal will lose tonight).

I see it all over the interent.

I guess thats why they need to introduce 50% tax, to improve the education system so the "lose" "loose" problem can be fixed x

No idea how it works and believe it or not I think it could actually do more harm than good.

That said Green Dave doesn't want to change it so it can't be all bad !laugh!

So what if you're poor and you suddenly get rich? Do you automatically lose half of it?

You need to excuse the colonel PH, he lives in a kind of 60's throwback timewarp, a time when rickett's were the norm, you could leave your front door open etc, and women were 'dolly birds'. He still drives a ford cortina, and thinks being 'Incontinent' is a trip to Munich or Paris. In the colonels world, if you have any spare cash or own your own house! well, your a 'toff' I,m afraid, oh, and a tory.
