The Verve were brilliant last year, the best performance at the festival in my opinion. I wonder who will be the gem this year. Somehow I dont thnk it will be The Quo!

Quo turned up as a substitute band when the advertised group couldn't make a college gig at St Mary's college Mile End in my student years. The audience sighed a collective "Oh no' when they were announced and launched into "Pictures of Matchstalk men" The rest is history-unfortunately.
