IF this is to be a whitewash to achieve a good result for the Government and other supporters of the war in Iraq wouldn't it being rushed through in time for the election achieve the same?

I feel that some of this should be in the open but not for Tory gimmicks / media attention who, let's not forget, supported the war and did the same thing over the Falklands War but because it's what the families of fallen service personnel want.

Some of this can't be in the open for obvious reasons but I think their is scope for an independent solicitor representing the families not the Tory cunts and press to sit as an observer during this stage of the enquiry.

The pathetic rant about Brown being dynamic while hardly surprising is a load of bollocks because as you know if he had don't it he would have been lambasted for appeasing the PLP, which is something I've absolutely no doubt you would have been writing about if it had happened.

Lol... I must admit that I'm not too familiar with Professor Krugman but I didn't find out about him via google. Sorry if this disappoints.

I'm not a Brownite, by the way, and I'm not overly fond of Labour either. Even if I was a Labour man, you can't seriously call me a 'leftie' for being so. This Labour government is the most capitalist-driven Labour party ever (and whether this is a good thing or not is open for debate another time, perhaps).

I just think it's polite to give credit where it's due and balance out arguments. Krugman isn't British and a Nobel Memorial prize winner in economics so I'd say he has nothing to gain in acknowledging Gordon Brown's achievements. I'd certainly take his opinion much more seriously than the journos at the Current Bun, or Daily Mail.

And after what he's said about Cameron having little to offer aside from spreading panic, I'd say he's spot on. I mean, do we really want a PM who resorts to mock German accents to get across his points on ID cards? What a wanker. !laugh!

Can you have a look at Green Dave's entitlement with regards to his expenses?

As far as I am aware he lived in London before becoming an MP and as such his entitlement to housing in his constituency was far less than the mansion he bought, the interest of which is still being paid for by the taxpayer.

Rumour is that the rules he is enforcing on his own MP's would result in him being kicked out.

So if anyone's laughing about change it's Green Dave and the muppets who support him.
