So, by my maths unemployment went down by 129,000. Well done Mr Brown!

Maybe these foreign workers do a better job, are willing to work longer hours and all for less money? Surely this is capitalism at it's finest; competition drives progress and the Tory philosophy isn't it? Or is capitalism only ok as long as it is shrouded in a nationalistic cloak? That sounds eerily fascist to me.

Don't you agree that we should make it easier to let people earn a living in other countries? Surely you have models and performers who regularly get jobs across Europe? You wouldn't deny them job opportunities abroad would you?

That's as you rightly know is not the issue though is it?

The facts are if Brown did make a gaffe pricks, especially the BBC, would be all over like a rash but when it's the lovely Green Dave practically fuck all is reported.

I detest politics by media but if that game is to be played then it has to be played with the same rules applying to everyone.

I go off at undefined angles? (that'll be 'x' then) It was you who changed the subject to 'British workers for British jobs' when the thread is about Cameron resorting to '70s sitcom stereotypical comedy. What I find funniest is that in your eagerness to attack Gordon Brown you managed to let out that he's created 129,000 extra jobs in an economy in recession! !laugh! That man's a genius! Like I said, I'm not really Brown's biggest fan but you're info on him is increasingly leaning me his way.

Anyway, back on topic: If old Cameron thinks it's ok to take the piss out of Germany's past due to his issues regarding ID cards then maybe he'll take the piss out of the Yanks too next time he meets Obama. A Texan drawl maybe? I mean, why not? Most American citizens carry 2 forms of photographic ID, what with their driving licence and State ID. It's voluntary (I think), which is only what Brown's plans are. (I'm not saying I'm in favour of ID cards, btw, I just think it's unfair to leave out the Yanks, if he's going to go around taking the piss about it.)

Maybe he'll do a Chinese impression next time if he thinks upsetting Obama isn't the smartest move. I'll look forward -though in horror- at him using his fingers to pull his eyes into slits and pull a goofy face because the Chinese oppress their people not unlike the Nazis did. Wouldn't it be cool to have a PM like that?!

I can't imagine how an Eton/Oxford education and a privileged upbringing failed to teach him better ways to express his views, can you?
