If you have more than 1000+ 'friends' on facebook then you have a personality defect maybe, it's a place for very shallow people.
Ha ha...Maybe true. Maybe not but I use mine for networking and so far it works fine for me...Though I think your comment is a crass geenralisation.

On the subject of this young fellow. Sometimes people do not handle failure very well. some see failure as a form of dishonour whatever it is he obviously took it badly enough to take his own life and that is terribly sad.
