I actually read there was 12,000+ deaths per year which makes the 65,000 a lot more dramatic.

We are all going to die...Just not all from swine flu.

Yoo know me, I love my conspiracy theories and I read that this that this H1N1 was a mixture of swine flu, this and that flu. I'm wondering if some mad scientist somewhere put this cocktail together to just make a lot of money on the stock market.

There you go, a story for the next james Bond movie.

well im just getting my second bout of flu symtoms ,havnt been to check if its swine flu as we are all advised to stay away from docs ,so I just dont know ill stay at home and suffer

I think 12 000 deaths is a tabloid fantasy.

We've come a long way, immunologically speaking, since 1914
and it seems absurd that the death-toll will reach the wilder
shores of redtop hysteria.

As a layabout teacher who has been told he 'probably' has Swine flu, I havebeen told to keep away from work in the last week of term as I work with a pregnant colleague. Happy days! Swine flu has its uses, altho' I don;t half feel like shit.
