I agree people who are directly effected can have reasons that are non-religious for going either way
Its the outside influences who clearly ignore these reasons and push their own agendas that get my back up.
As you say it all comes back to quality of life
If your in constant pain,the diagnosis is hopeless and the best palliative care cant ease the pain then i think it reasonable to say...OK...if you want it to end your life then so be it
For the patient thats in the vegetative state being kept alive by machine the decison has to be a whole lot harder
We put down animals why not humans ?
