Take an old man's advice, lovely Sarah.
Take a train-ride to Mansfield.
The train, and the chat thereafter, might enlighten you : -)

Hang them, by all means- as long as you take responsibility for the
"oops', we made a mistake" hangings that subsequent evidence
throws up.

But their institutional incompetence has meant that they've done
less overall damage than Mrs. T. did.
Evil isn't measured quantitatively.

And the Roman invasion of Britain in 43AD has also taken a while to get over.
And of course the disolution of the monastries by Henry the Eighth caused a major disruption, closing down 800 monastries.
Mind you, Tony Blair and Gordon Brown have done more damage to this country than anyone in recent history.
* They have bankrupt the country
* Allowed anyone and everyone who wants to come here easy access (giving us hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants)
* Supported the increase in the size of the EU, but made no restriction on how many from each country could come here
* Made living on benefits a career choice
* Been in power when many companies have goen bankrupt, many never to appear again on these shores.
This country may never recover from the mess Blair and Brown have caused.
