I saw him in the gym last week training on the heavy bags, so the answer is he'll be back.

been looking it up and apparently ricky is indeed looking for 1 more farewell fight in britain just to say thankyou and goodbye to all his loyal fans
Ricky was never a great great fighter but he was indeed a man of the people which is very rare in the fight game and many people including myself wanna see ricky bow out as a world champion!!

Ricky will never bow it if he becomes a World Champion - if you believe that sort of stuff then obviously you don't know much about Hatton.
I believe that Hatton will fight again - possibly against Khan and get royally humped .... THEN RETIRE.

having been in and around the sport all my life and following it on a day to dad basis i think i do actually know what im talking about
hatton-khan wont happen - ricky is still a sellable product stateside unlike khan and could still pull of a huge last payday unlike khan who is a relative unknown over there.
I expect to see hatton in with someone like bradley or holt. As long as he steers clear of the likes of marquez and cotto he`ll be a world champ again and bow out on the top just like he`s always wanted too!!

I agree hammer.
Khan, local lad and cocky sod in the streets of Bolton, still has that suspect chin.Warren will make sure hes not exposed again.
I maintain Hatton will not fight again...hes no fool and realises that unless the opponent is 2nd rate, his chances of winning are diminished.
I will never forget flogging a boxing painting to Barry McGuigans mentor just before he was beaten up in 110 degrees of heat by a poor fighter in Steve Cruz in the States.
Barry didnt want the fight but Eastwood called the shots....................
by the way,my wife the countess witnessed Khans so called accident when he knocked a fella down in a main street..the chap died later.Khan was showboating in a fancy limo.Ive no time for him, cocky get.

its lose lose for hatton really
ricky does not wanna be remembered for getting laid out in 2 rounds by pacquiao. He`s only 30 for christs sake and already people are calling for him to call it a day.
As long as hatton now accepts he isnt going to be in that elite fighter list i see no reason why ricky cant go on to win another world title and once again dominate at 140 against the likes of bradley, cherry, diaz etc
