Would you hold the same opinion about Michael Shields?
When Mckinnon was arrested, it was for a British jurisdiction offence, for which the likely penalty was - deservedly - six months community service.
The Americans simply made up supposed damage that took his "crime" over the 5000 dollar limit that allows for extradition.
To actually hold the opinions you lot espouse here shows a great deal of callousness. Very disappointing.
