It probably is non-addictive but it can lead to the harder stuff.
Alcoholics don't start off drinking White Lightning,Special Brew, Buckfast etc but probably started with a beer.

What a load of shite. Please post proof and I'll reconsider.
My nephew worked in a shop a few years ago and everytime a junkie was spotted he was watched and other shops in the area warned. I've even seen an addict getting thrown out of the local Farmfoods. Maybe you don't class shoplifting as a crime.
There are plenty of drunks in my town but they are usually tolerated because they have money. I don't know many wealthy junkies.
As you have already said alcohol is legal here if cannabis smokers want to have a smoke they can nip over to Amsterdam where they can smoke to their hearts content.

Cannabis is addictive and can also be harmful contray to opinions of posters here.

Cannabis has already been medically proven to enhance and increase levels of paranoia over prolonged use in some people, the same go's with folk becoming addicted to it.

It might have been better to have said less harmful/ less addictive
